ID Shields 

Manitoba Ombudsman has "ID shields" for credit and debit cards to help protect against identify theft and fraud. The ID shields, made of metallized, water and tear-resistant paper, are designed to protect against unauthorized access to the personal information contained on your card's radio frequency identification (RFID) chip. If you would like us to send you one, please call 204-982-9130 or email ombudsman@ombudsman.mb.ca with your request.
