Jean-Paul Beaumont was found unresponsive by fellow inmates on October 14, 2012 at Brandon
Correctional Institution. In the hours leading up to the last time he was seen alive, other
inmates saw him ingesting morphine pills and methamphetamine. His cause of death was
determined to be morphine overdose. At the time of his death, Mr. Beaumont was 39 years old.
